So, this was the first smartfm list I really tried. Before I had tried the “Japanese Core 2000:Step 1″ but I got frustrated quickly because I think I was missing the point. I wasn’t understanding that you can’t learn the words on the first pass, which is why they come up again later.
I don’t know how often words like “mistletoe” and “walnut” will come up in normal conversation, but it did get me to sit down and start playing with it.
I walked around work today with it in my head. “Nanda? Naze?”
